Service was a little slow, but probably due to two large groups arriving at the same time. But our order came promptly and was hot and delicious. I'll be back and probably add another star to the rating.
Alhamdulillaah the food was delicious no complaints Mashallaah😎
Great food, quick and friendly service. Can do custom orders - we are here on whole 30 and got the curry customized. So good we went twice that day
They have quite a few choices of lamb, duck and trout dishes, a little more options than your common thai place. They do have larb and regular items like chicken/beef satay and pineapple fried rice, all good. No problem with ordering take out from them.
I love the fried rice!
Amazing food! Loved the curry puffs and drunken noodles!
Always great when a restaurant accomodates customers. As a vegan who does not eat grains (rice), they were happy to substitute mung bean noodles with the veggie curry. Also love the different hot spices/sauces options available, as well as the free wifi hotspot. The prices were also much lower than other Thai restaurants near by. Would return if I am in the area.
Great place for good tasting food
Excellent service, great pumpkin curry and fresh coconuts!
I am from Paris and I really enjoyed the food and it not expensive at all. I have been there twice. And people are really nice. I recommend it. The chicken strips and the soups are tasty. As we say in French there is no twice without a three times...Jamais deux sans trois. Maybe I go there for dinner tonight to make for the third time :')
Halal Thai food
Best tom yum I've ever had!!
Pretty inexpensive and good food. Can't complain.
Food is amazing. Service is fantastic and prices are very competitive. Unfortunately Bag San is closing in a couple of days. I would HIGHLY recommend eating at Bang San before it closes its doors!
Great thai foods with great price and it is halal for muslim visitors.
Best Thai place ever. I drive all the way here from Sacramento.
Good food. Large portions. Average service
Some recent reading put me off of pig. So I tried this halal Thai spot. I had red curry chicken, my daughter had steamed broccoli. Very good. Nice heat on the curry, too. I always ask for my curry spicy, and so few Thai places oblige, so I'd rate this 4.5 if I could. Prices were quite reasonable. Abby enjoyed her broccoli.
I come here with co-workers when were in the San Francisco office. The place is small and fills up quickly at lunch time. We always end up getting rice plates, I usually get their BBQ pork plate. It's just the right amount of food for me.
Food was good. Service was fast and efficient.
Food was good. I like spicy food but others in my party did not. So you have to be sure to ask how hot a dish will be. I had a good taste of 6 dishes that were served, all were quite tasty. For kids or the passive ethnic food eater you can't go wrong with the egg-fried rice or even better the crab-fried rice. The complaints on customer service.. it's not an Olive Garden that brings you breadsticks every 5 minutes or an upscale place that waits on you hand and foot. The services is polite and fulfills requests. No complaints at all. We were a group of 7 adults and 5 kids and we ate 15 minutes after ordering.I'd go again. 5 star for the food. 3 stars for the setting. Cheers
I used to live a few blocks from this place and this place was my go-to Thai place for pickups and dining in. If you like mango, you got to try the Mango curry tofu here. They use Phillipines Mangoes for this and not the Mexican ones so the mango and the curry is delicious. Service is decent, nothing fancy. We usually ended up ordering the Pad Thai and Mango curry with rice but I bet anything you try here is going to be delicious. Tip: They are located in the ghetto part of Tenderloin so do not walk alone at night unless you know how to deal with people on the streets.
The food is not bad, in fact I really like it. Fairly greasy is par for the course at this price point. What you'd expect from a cheap Thai place. But the service leaves a lot to be desired. I only order this for takeout and the delivery time is very unpredictable, but usually over an hour. Last time I ordered from here they told me it would be an hour, then I called after an hour and they said 30 more minutes, clearly having completely forgotten about the order.I also once got a delivery in 30 minutes flat, and as mentioned above the food is fine so that was quite a nice experience. In summary YMMV, but if you can find another cheap Thai place with good service then give them your business instead, and spread the word. I've got nothing against this place but they could stand to improve their service.
THe staff is great and pleasant, and I love BYOB!
Place is great and I love the foodâ¤ðŸ–’
Great food
Excellent foods and service...Best Thai foods in SF!!!
Foods are tasty and great service. One of the best Halal thai restaurants in Bay Area.
Chow meun is good. Fried rice is good
Excellent Pad Thai. I'll be back.
If you love AUTHENTIC Thai food, this is the place to go! I've been to other Thai restaurants in the city and this one is the best by far. If you've been to San Francisco, this restaurant will bring you back to those memories. They know how to cook Thai food. I even think the entire staff is from San Francisco.Amazing service as well and they are very quick. Never disappoints!
Food is great, service could be better but not bad overall
Could be a hit or a miss at times but usually very good curries and stir fries. Service can be a little delayed sometimes when they are understaffed but the folks here are polite.
Mashallah...very good service excellent food...
Food was good, portion size was quite a lot, service was fast. Good experience overall.
Awesome place! Not sure if they're open any more. Will miss this place
Great tasty food, we has the lunch combo, green curry and red curry, good value for money.
Some people love it. I'm just alright with it. There is definitely better Thai in the area.
Spicy food filled with flavour and large portions. It was a real treat for the taste buds. And a bang for the buck. The beef was chewy though however it was a great meal for it's price value.
Best Halal Thai place in North America
Great vegetarian food as well. Oh and Thai ice tea.
Tom Yam always reminds me of home. This taste almost the same
